Refund & Cancellation Policy
1. Payments are handled by Paddle
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, the Merchant of Record for all orders. Refunds are issued by Paddle to your original payment method. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's buyer terms.
2. Cancelling your subscription
- You can cancel at any time — from the link in your Paddle receipt e-mail or by contacting support@colpan.app.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep full access until then.
- We do not issue pro-rata refunds for the unused remainder of a billing period, except where required by applicable law.
3. 14-day refund on your first purchase
If you are not satisfied, contact us within 14 days of your first payment for a plan and we will refund it. To keep this policy fair, we may decline or reduce a refund in cases of abuse — for example where a substantial portion of the monthly AI allowance has already been consumed before the request, on repeated purchase-and-refund cycles, or where fraud is indicated. Legitimate first-time requests are honoured.
4. Renewal payments
Renewals of an ongoing subscription are not refundable, except: (a) billing errors — e.g. you were charged after cancelling, or charged twice — which we always correct and refund; or (b) where applicable consumer law requires a refund. To avoid an unwanted renewal, cancel before your renewal date; we recommend doing so at least 24 hours in advance.
5. EU/UK consumers — statutory withdrawal right
If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases. Because your subscription is a digital service that begins immediately, by purchasing you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that, once performance has begun, your statutory withdrawal right applies as provided by law. This does not reduce our voluntary 14-day first-purchase refund in Section 3, and nothing in this policy limits any right that consumer law grants you and that cannot be waived.
6. How to request a refund
- E-mail support@colpan.app from the address used at purchase, with your order number (in your Paddle receipt), or
- use the refund/help link in your Paddle receipt e-mail.
Approved refunds are processed by Paddle to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days depending on your bank. When a purchase is refunded, the associated managed AI access is deactivated.
7. Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback — genuine issues are resolved faster and without cost to anyone. Chargebacks found to be fraudulent may result in suspension of the associated license.
